We know that young people rarely respond well to being told who to be or how to live. Instead, like an acorn carrying within it the inherent blueprint to become an oak tree, every young person holds an intrinsic wisdom and direction of growth. Through adopting a coaching approach, we have learned to create the space where that inner knowing can emerge – empowering young people to discover their own answers, their own voice and their own path.
- With remarkable generosity, senior Wise Goose students have offered pro bono coaching to our staff team. This has not only supported individual wellbeing and confidence but has also strengthened the collective resilience and effectiveness of our organisation.
- Over the years, Wise Goose has also gifted fully accredited coach training to several of our staff members. This investment has gone far beyond professional development; it has deepened our understanding of transformational work and enhanced our capacity to hold young people – and each other – with greater presence, curiosity and compassion.
