Our Youth Social Action (YSA) projects in Scotland
Here’s how it works. With the help of two Growing2gether facilitators, we look at what’s needed in our communities, and find something we can help to solve. We design a project, create a budget and get local partners to help. Here are some we’ve achieved so far. Watch this space…
Youth Power transforms Tain Underpass!
From 21st–24th July 2025, 37 young people in Tain joined a Youth Social Action project, transforming the once-drab underpass into a vibrant, welcoming space for the community!

Tain Youth Social Action Group: Art Group
The Tain Group set up an Art Group which aimed to create an artwork based on the group’s personal experiences, highlighting how art has supported their wellbeing and helped reduce anxiety.

The Alness Group helped St Clements School in Dingwall raise funds for a much-needed accessible playground.
