About Us
Growing2gether
Inspiring Young Minds, Transforming Communities
Established in 2017, Growing2gether has so far helped over 3000 young people and children improve their mental health and skills, creating potential for a more positive future.
It is the only Scottish charity that uses Transpersonal and Positive Psychology to turn at-risk young people into mentors.
We are based at Ecovillage Findhorn in north-east Scotland, a community founded over 60 years ago and recognised by the United Nations for holistic and sustainable solutions.
'While I wanted to give our people a voice, Growing2gether gave me a voice, which is amazing.'
Our Mission
To change outcomes for young people facing disadvantage, by strengthening their mental health, life skills, and purpose – unlocking positive choices, educational success, and community contribution.
Our Vision
A world where every young person has the power to realise their potential, build a positive future, and help their communities.

The Neuroscience
Backed by the science of Transpersonal and Positive Psychology, Growing2gether rewires young minds by helping them form new neural pathways based on positive regard.

'Everything about Growing2gether has completely built me up, in every single way.'

Our story
Growing2gether's radically different approach comes from an inspiring visionary: psychotherapist Laura Huxley, partner of author Aldous Huxley.
Laura believed early care will shape humanity – an idea shared by Growing2gether’s founder and Co-CEO, Diana Whitmore, who brought the mentorship-in-reverse concept to the UK. It's a fascinating and transformative story about two remarkable women.

Right now Growing2gether works in schools and communities in Moray, Aberdeen and the Highlands. Our aim is to expand across Scotland.
